Obituary

Mr. Virgil Jackson was born on August 19, 1949 to the
late Booker T. Jackson and the late Mattie Jackson, in
Screven County, Georgia.
Virgil received his education at the Annie Daniels School,
and he attended church at First Baptist Church. Virgil was
a hard worker and worked for many years at Claxton
Poultry processing plant in Claxton, Georgia.
Virgil was joined in Holy matrimony to Annie Ruth
Kelly, with this union he became step-father to four
children. Three daughters: Laura Bonner, Princess Davis
(Demon), and Holly Charles (Edward); and one son:
Corinthians Kelly (Vickey), all of Sylvania, Georgia.
Virgil Was preceded in death by his parents and two
sisters Avon Jackson and Betty Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, Three sisters: Ann
Gail Cooper of Augusta, GA; Mattie Mingle of Hiltonia,
GA; and Dorine Dempsey of Chester, PA; One brother:
Lee Terry Jackson of Hiltonia, Ga; One aunt Lisha Mae
Cooper of Sylvania, GA; a special cousin: Ida Herrington
of Augusta , GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
and friends.
