Revane Kittles Obituary

SISTER REVANE KITTLES was born on August 16, 1954, to the late
Brother Eddie Gordon, Jr., and the late Sister Mattie Lee Smith in Millen,
Georgia.
She joined Dixon Branch Baptist Church in Rocky Ford, Georgia, at an
early age. She later moved her membership to Greenwood Baptist Church
in Sylvania, Georgia, and later to Kemp Grove Baptist Church in Sylvania,
Georgia.
Revane was a 1972 graduate of Screven County High School. After
graduating, she was employed by White Stag for many years.
On March 20, 1976, she was joined in Holy matrimony to the late Dea.
Charles Kittles. To their union, two children were born.
On Thursday, August 18, 2022, at East Georgia Medical Center in Statesboro,
Georgia, she gained her wings for enteral rest.
In addition to her parents, Brother Eddie Gordon, Jr., and Sister Mattie Lee
Smith, she was preceded in death by two children, Brother Ricky Gordon
and Sister Sherica “Recey” Kittles, and one grandchild, Tha’Laisha Kittles.
Her memories will be cherished by: devoted daughter, Dertia Kittles
of Statesboro, GA; stepdaughter, Andrea (Paul) Reed of Augusta, GA;
two sisters, Carolyn (Kenneth) Foy and Elaine Johnson of Sylvania, GA;
one brother, Latauvus Johnson of Sylvania, GA; one daughter-in-law,
Susie Gordon of Millen, GA; one brother-in-law, Deacon Eurl (Subrena)
Kittles of Sylvania, GA; four sisters-in-law, Sister Annie Ruth (Richard)
Wright, Minster Marvia Kittles, Sister Loretta Kittles of Sylvania, GA,
and Joyce Kittles of Fort Myers, FL; six grandchildren, Ka’Liyah Kittles,
Isis Kittles, and Alycia Kittles, all of Statesboro, GA, and Ke’Andre Curtis,

Keiona Curtis, and Ke’Cheona Curtis, all of Sylvania, GA; three great-
grandchildren, Malachi Houston and Reign Houston (expected November

2022), both of Statesboro, GA, and Ashton Williams of Sylvania, GA; loved
like a sister, Mildred Melvin of Sylvania, GA; a dear special loved one,
Deacon Jessie Adkin of Sylvania, GA; along with a host of nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles, and many loved ones.
