Louise Butler, born on January 19, 1949, in Rocky Ford, Georgia, peacefully
departed this life on April 5, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of the late
Mr. James Butler and Annie M. Butler.
Louise was a vibrant entertainer who found joy in the company of others
and cherished every moment spent together. She was educated in the
Screven County school system, where she undoubtedly left an impression
with her lively spirit and warmth.
Preceding her in death were her three brothers, Charles Butler (C.W.),
James Butler, Jr., and Willie Joe Butler, along with her sister, Dorothy
Washington.
Left behind is a legacy of love and cherished memories carried by: her three
devoted sons, Jessie Butler of Augusta, GA, Willie Butler, and Thomas
“Tommy” Lee Jones (Rhonda) of Seattle, WA; sister, Christine Butler-
Tanksley of Sylvania, GA; Louise leaves behind a remarkable lineage of
fourteen grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren, along with a
host of nieces, nephews, and countless loved ones. Among them, her special
friend, Sabrina Sweet, held a cherished place in her heart.
