Jamal Maurice Leeks was born on April 24, 1994, in Savannah,
Georgia, to the parentage of Yolanda Leeks of Sylvania, Georgia, and
Shawn Hall of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
On August 13, 2023, God called Jamal to his new heavenly home. Jamal
was educated in the Screven County public school system, where he
was active in sports, playing football, basketball, and baseball. After
high school, Jamal enlisted into the U.S. Airforce.
Jamal was united into holy matrimony to Ashley Lariscy, and this
union produced a son, Justin R. Leeks
Along with his wife, son, and both parents, Jamal leaves to cherish his
precious memory: three brothers, Koran Leeks of Sylvania, Georgia,
Shawn Hall, Jr., and Shawn Hall III, both of Fort Lauderdale, Florida;
seven sisters, Courtney Leeks, Constance Leeks, and Alexis Leeks, all
of Sylvania, Georgia, and Breshaay Hall, Breanna Hall, Chelsea Hall,
and Kaley Hall, all of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; two sisters-in-law,
Tilley Lariscy and Hailey Lariscy, and mother-in-law, Sarah Lariscy,
all of Sylvania, Georgia; maternal grandmother, Mary Howard
of Sylvania, Georgia; paternal grandmother, Edna Hall of Fort
Lauderdale, Florida; maternal grandfather, Walter (Linda) Leeks of
Sylvania, Georgia; seven nieces; and a host of other aunts, uncles,
cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Final rites have been entrusted to Cooper's Memorial Funeral Chapel
