Eric Tyrone Bryant

Eric Tyrone Bryant Sr.

Eric was born May 6, 1969, in Brooklyn New York to the Late Mary Pearl Johnson Bryant Albright, and the late Melvin “Shorty” Bryant.

At an early age he joined St. Paul Baptist Church. He attended Screven County School System before going to Job Corps in Kittrell, SC where he studied Diesel Mechanic and Welding.

On Sunday January 8, 2023 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, GA he was called home after a three year battle with pancreatic cancer. Eric fought a long and hard fight, until the Lord said, “Ditch the body and come on home son”.

He leaves to Cherish his memory: A son, Eric T. Bryant JR, of Savannah GA: One Sister, Lisa Marie Bryant, of Sylvania, GA: Two Step-Sisters, Loretta “TOT” Bryant and Ophelia Wilson, both of Sylvania, GA: Two Aunts, Dora Atkins of Sylvania, GA, and Birdie Mae Oliver of Jacksonville, FL: Four Nieces, Nicole, Vanessa and Baconya Taylor and Tyler Brant: Six Great Nieces, one special great nephew Royalty N. Jenkins of Sylvania, GA: Two special Sisters in love, Malania and Michelle Solomon of Columbia, SC: A Loving Praying And Caring Church family at St. John Baptist Church in Oliver and a host of cousins, relatives  and friends.

God saw Eric getting tired, when a cure was not to be, so he wrapped his arms around him and said, “Come home to me”.
