Mr. Archie Lee Jackson was born October 03, 1945, to his mother Eleanor Woodard.
Archie was a graduate of the Central High School Class of 1965. Ater graduation he enlisted in the US
Army, while serving in the US Army he fought in the Vietnam war. After eight years of service he
received an honorable discharge on April 12, 1972 as a Sergent. He then began his career as a
mechanic with the City of Sylvania for 29 years, retiring on December 10, 2010.
Archie was a member of Kemp Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he was ordained as a
Deacon, and served as president of the Usher Board.
Archie leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 47 years, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Jackson; his
Children: Andrea Williams, Gloria Graham, Kenneth Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Alisha Jackson and Arlinga
Jackson. Twelve grandchildren, Twenty-four Great Grandchildren, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces,
Nephews, Cousin, Friends, and other loved ones.
